My game is going to be at least of 5-6 hours of gameplay and doing it all in one sitting is impossible if you don’t have the time. The ability to SAVE in different parts of the game would be incredibly helpful!
I just make different slots, so if the player saves at slot C and quits. They can come back to the game later and select slot C to pick off from where they left off.
Save slots are like this:
SLOT 1 – NAME – 67.2 PERCENT DONE <—
SLOT 2 – NAME – 17.5 PERCENT DONE
NEW SLOT – NEW GAME?
The arrow is what you choose. It’s when multiple players want to play (only 1 person at a time though.), you have to have to save slots. That’s what save slots are. Here’s an example.
It would be very helpful to do with big games like you said, DIVISION.
