Yes, thank you! I meant to respond sooner – I apologize. They are back and working perfectly. Thank you, thank you, thank you Koen! 🙂0July 19, 2019 at 10:00 pm #4706
What about an outdoor castle design contest? Exterior-only.
You wouldn’t have to have any dialogue or multiple scenes since it would be a scenery contest, which means the due date could be less than a month.
Would anyone be interested in something like that?2+May 14, 2019 at 9:05 am #4630
Okay cool 🙂 Here’s the style I was thinking of :
I’m unsure if it’s helpful or if I should try a different tact. What do you think? It’s very short so far.0May 14, 2019 at 4:10 am #4628
I know you said this was over but…is it really over? lol If it is, I won’t waste my time attempting to make a tutorial. But if it isn’t, I’ll make one haha.0May 14, 2019 at 3:51 am #4627
It’s nice to hear from you again as well! I’ve missed being able to work on games uninterrupted haha. Thank you!0March 29, 2019 at 8:57 pm #4388
Sounds like a cool challenge! I can’t join this time, unfortunately, but I am still alive! I hope to start making games again soon haha. My little one is almost 3months old now – he takes up a lot of time. I love the new updates you’ve managed to get out! The loading screen looks amazing!0September 22, 2018 at 4:38 pm #3799
I was trying to be a lil different haha.
I’m glad you were able to complete it without dying. I definitely died several times trying to figure out how many health potions to provide vs. the health levels of enemies.0September 16, 2018 at 8:07 pm #3783September 15, 2018 at 6:39 am #3780
I think I got the good ending, I mean Mother was proud and I fed the hungry and whatnot haha.
This was amazing! I really dig your style, it kept me captivated. I like how there’s a quest without being overly complicated – which is something I struggle with when making my own games lol.
Overall, loved it!0September 15, 2018 at 5:57 am #3779
It’s been a crazy week for me, but I’ll start working on one tonight and see how far I can get. I’m in!0September 4, 2018 at 12:57 am #3762
@jjohndoe Thank you!
@deWiTTERS Thank you, I appreciate it! It is a very quick game haha, I’m thinking of readjusting the ending so that it’s not quite so rushed. Designing is definitely one of my favorite things to do, I just wish I had more hours in the day haha.
@Aura Thank you! I’m excited to take on more challenges. And omg, right? Hours upon hours for 5 minutes. You’ve gotta love doing this to get it done right haha. 🙂0September 4, 2018 at 12:52 am #3761
Ahh, okay. Thanks, Koen! Thanks Aura, I appreciate the help!0September 4, 2018 at 12:50 am #3760
First off, the flashback beginning was freaking brilliant!
As always, your level design was amazing. 🙂 You have such a whimsical style that makes it fun to explore the town and discover things! The investigation aspect of your game was pretty awesome as well. The Quest Book System was brilliant, that way when you get lost you can always have a place to check up on yourself haha.0September 3, 2018 at 11:58 pm #3758
Finally got a chance to check this out! I like what you’ve kinda got goin on in the town of Lierra.
Also, I love how you took the ‘Curious Case’ literally by making it a briefcase, I thought that was pretty clever. I also like the dialogue of your game. The characters are definitely interesting to talk to. All in all, good work!0August 26, 2018 at 8:32 am #3737
^^ Not sure how ya’ll can just post links, mine always turns into the game lol I apologize!
Whew! Who knew a mini-game would take so long to make? The play time is so short, and it’s kinda lame, but I did it! lol
@all Thank you for your participation, you guys! I’ll be sure to check out and play all games as soon as I can!0
