Unity 3D can indeed do that, but it’s definitely not easy:
- You need to be able to program to use Unity 3D
- Making an RPG is a big challenge, even for someone with experience in programming
- You need to have a registered company to be able to go on the Nintendo or Sony platforms (XBox offers XBox Live Creators programs that makes this easier)
RPG Playground on a console would basically mean that you can easily make your own game on there, and share it with others on that platform.
