Anyone can start a new contest!

Any member of our community can start a challenge or new game contest!

Here is how to do this:

1. Create a new topic in this game contest forum, with a title “The challenge of …”
2. In your post, describe the challenge such as:
   

   I challenge anyone who is brave enough, to make a game with <your challenge>.
   Your need to submit your game before <a certain date>.

   To enter this contest, please reply to this topic so people know you are joining.

   Before the deadline, share your game on the forum, and reply here with a link to your shared game.

3. If the deadline is at least 3 weeks away, you can join the contest yourself.
4. The ongoing challenge will be pinned on the forum.
5. deWiTTERS will give a big shout-out on social media to boost the number of entrants.

Remark that we only want to have 1 challenge at a time. So if there is still an ongoing challenge, don’t announce your challenge yet, but wait until the previous ends.

This looks like great idea, even though i am pretty terrible on game jams.

What about an outdoor castle design contest? Exterior-only.

You wouldn’t have to have any dialogue or multiple scenes since it would be a scenery contest, which means the due date could be less than a month.

Would anyone be interested in something like that?
