The new copy functionality is really cool. Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem to work properly with Microsoft Windows. Open “notepad.exe” and write a few lines of screenplay in there. Copy all the lines into the screenplay of an actor. You’ll notice, that after every line an additionally empty line will be inserted. My guess is, @deWiTTERS is using Linux, Unix or macOS. For line breaks Windows uses two control characters: carriage return (ASCII code 13) and line feed (ASCII code 10). I’m not familiar with macOS and the Apple world, but at least I know Linux only uses one control characters for line breaks instead of two. The same goes for Android. I’ve got the hunch the Windows way to create line breaks has been forgotten to implement.
