    I experienced the search functions obviousely will search for games only but not for threads. That behavior have both search fields. I would like to have a search functionality also for forum topics. Or did I something wrong and it is already there?

    Yes, there is a forum specific search at https://rpgplayground.com/forum-index/, right above the forum list.
