I’ve been keeping an eye on scene transitions in various games recently. I havent talked about it yet, but it’s definitely in the back of my mind to make them cooler, and configurable.

About sleeping, I noticed that when you place a character in a bed, it seems as if they are laying in it. What you could do as a hack is place a new NPC in the bed, that looks like your hero. Set that NPC to inactive. When you go to sleep, deactivate your hero, activate the NPC… then the screenplay says you are well rested, and do the reverse. I think that should work.
