    Hello everyone,

I’m making a signpost and would like it to say something like

    ↑ The big house

    ↓ Ice cream hut

    → Pool of fatal death

← Pool of cuddles and candy floss

I don’t know how to get arrows in or how to get line breaks.  The arrows are less important because I can write “north”, “east” etc. but the line breaks are a real problem because they make the signpost hard to read otherwise.

Are line breaks or symbols possible in dialogue?

As far as I know, there’s no way to have line breaks in any dialogue. When I was working on Poetry Adventure!, a game where a lot of poetry was involved, I just used slashes to show where a line break would usually be, but it still isn’t ideal. This is a bit tedious, but maybe you could try to put enough spaces to make the dialogue appear to have a line break? As for the symbols, there’s no way to copy and paste symbols into the game. You could try to get around this by doing something along the lines of -> and <- for right and left, but again, it isn’t very ideal.

Thank you!  Well, it’s not ideal as you say, but it’s good to hear that I’m not being stupid and there is no other way.  Perhaps the spaces is the way to go, I’ll give it a try.
