Find who? You'll have to play to find out. Maze your way through the haunting mansion to find the little girl and figure out what she wants. (Note: this is a WIP. It's currently just rooms and two characters with a little story, but I need feedback on what I have so far. New rooms have been added!)
Please comment your opinion on what I have so far. Like I said it is a work in progress so there are lots of roomless doors and empty rooms (like, one empty room, as of now), but those will be filled eventually. Also, please comment the vibe you got while playing so I know if it’s spooky enough! 😉
You should add more characters,so that by helping them the player can go to some new place or learn things about the other characters like the girl from the start.
I might add more characters later in the game, but I’ll probably keep the mansion empty for now. The mansion, any and all characters, and the story are all a work in progress. Right now, I’m working on mapping out the house, then I’ll add clues to who the girl is and other details to the story. Do you have any more recommendations? I would love to hear them! 🙂
I think that some of the rooms could use some more dressing, (like furniture in middle) and to add to personality some rooms have different ambience than others? I think a good part for a scare would be: you walk into a room with only a bit of furniture, the music goes silent, you walk out the door, all you see is a blank room with a skeleton, you walk back through the door, the game goes back to normal via like a token the player gets, and the room when you go back in is normal, more dressed and has music. That’s just my opinion, also the intro door takes a bit too long to transport for some reason?
Thanks for your feedback @surelybobbled. I looked into the intro door situation and couldn’t find anything wrong with the transportation. I did redo it and adjust its position so maybe it will work properly now. I like your idea for alternating the ambience for each room and will be sure to use it. (I’ll probably do that after I finnish the layout.) Thank you for your suggestions! Be sure and come back to play the complete and finished project! 😉
