Infinity Stairs

The intense speed of characters, notably the hero, was at first confusing. Once I figured out that speed and “rooms” are used as a form of currency, the game was much less confusing and more enjoyable. I can’t figure out the point of going onto the roof, or into the empty closet (other than comic relief). The old man enemy is heavily overpowered. The whole game feels like it’s still under development. Methods of victory are unclear. Hey, look, that tree says Jakob Carol has been missing for a long time! Wait, isn’t Jakob Carol me? Please clear up this potential gem of a game!
Also, I think I found a few bugs:
The man who leaves to go find his kids is not the same man who actually finds them later. The first time you talk to the girl, the boy responds instead of the girl. After choosing “[object Object]” in the corridor menu, I entirely lost the ability to move my character.
