You are Odysseus, the king of Ithaca, hoping to return home from the battlegrounds of Troy. You have temporarily landed and made camp on the shores of a fertile island, hoping to restock your crew's larder for the long voyage. However, this was the country of the "lawless and outrageous Cyclopes", a monstrous and uncivilized race who reap undeserved bounties of the gods without piety or fear. You must believe in the protection given to you by your gods, as you move forth into this hostile land. Basic Controls: Arrow keys to walk. Spacebar to swing your sword. Walk into a character to talk to them, and press spacebar to advance the text.

Hint for the final boss: When he raises his sword, move away to avoid his attack, then hit him again. Rinse and repeat.
Wow, this is actually really fun to play! The story is quite accurate to the greek myth, kinda to an extent, but it was really nice to see it made as a game here. I like the combat, it was pretty easy so I think you can still make it a bit harder. Nice work on this game, I enjoyed playing it!
Ah, thank you! I agree that the game was rather easy, though this was because I created this for a university project and I was (perhaps irrationally) worried that the examiners playing would be unable to complete it. If I were to make another game as a personal project, I would certainly make it more difficult and less hand-holding. Thank you for the feedback!
