So here is something interesting – my first number always seems to come up 222, but the numbers after that appear really random. Why do we think that is?
I see why. Whenever this game is started up, the monsters that are hitting the actors are always facing the same way. So it’s always going to be the same number. But when you interact with the statue they change directions and hit a different actor. Really awesome.
Hmm… You have to wait until the monsters swing their swords with the hitting sound to get a new number, it won’t change if it’s just the swiping sword sound. But it’s weird if you got stuck on the same number even accounting for that?
I’ve noticed that sometimes the monsters like to flip back and forth between two numbers, too, so that often the ‘random numbers’ are reverses of the previous number. They change eventually, but it can take a number of flips. Something to work on if/when I revise this!
That’s up for version 2. I know it’s possible to get the game to glitch and prevent enemy attacks from making sounds, just gotta find out the specifics of it.

Aha, that explains it!
Fancy, that’s impressive.
That’s really cool. Some numbers don’t seem very random though. I got the same numbers 5 times in a row but then after that, it seemed to be random.

I’d use this for loot drops if it wasn’t for the swinging and hitting sounds…

…And now I have! 🙂
