So, when I was making Simple Fishing, I realised that by switching off and on the move to enemy behaviour, you can get an NPC to go towards the hero beyond the usual 2 squares. It turns out, NPCs will follow an enemy that they are matched to forever across a level, over any distance, so long as they are never able to reach any enemies, and so long as they never get within two squares of the enemy they are seeking.
So in this game, I have an invisible NPC run around at the start and enemy-match all of the mice to himself, then I send him around the outside of the level to control the movement of the mob of mice.
Wow…This is awesome!
Thank you!
How did you manage to do it?

That is very interesting!
