They would overwhelm and send way more troops and tanks than needed. This tactic was helpful because they could surround the enemy, in this case Poland, and take them out far easier. Blitzkrieg means "Lightning War" fast, loud, and gone in a flash before you know it. They would aswell have air support as they would be able to take over from above.
