this game is very early on. i'm planning much more quests and story! white flower syndrome revolves around tessa, a young lady who used to work as a guard in the poor, desolate town of seda. murdoc had overthrown the monarchy, and reigns supreme. murdoc is a tyrant, and forces labour on the citizens of seda. due to this, many died. murdoc would bury the peoples in a mysterious area that is guarded. no weaponry is allowed in the town anymore, and is guarded, which is the reasoning behind murdoc lurking around seda. the white flowers speckled across seda's atmosphere have a powder lingering, and it is known to cause insanity. tessa's parents have been killed due to murdoc, but tessa is unaware. murdoc had to break the news to her.

the Archetypal Journey

Hey guys!! I am proud to announce that I have created my first test demo! I used archetypal characteristics and created a sequence of events about 2 minutes long that took about a hour to debug. I encourage you to try it and open up the screenplay code as I am very proud with what I came up with from much frustration.  Please do not judge the layout, it is very basic for a reason, I was simply testing what I could accomplish with the program as of right now. Your character starts in a open field, walk to the top left and you will find a entrance to some unknown place. I used tokens to create multiple dialogues with a character. I used the teleport function in a very cinematic way. Please enjoy this piece of work, however short it is, and I would love criticism on how to more efficiently create events in the screenplay editor.

The title to this game is a work-in-progress, but it’ll basically just be the character exploring the land and completing simple item retrieving and collecting quests. Only one quest is able to be completed at the moment, and as of right now, only the first scene and inside of the hero’s house are completed, but a town is started, as well. Note: Don’t go into the path in the forest if you don’t want to be stuck in a blank scene.
